TIM ROGERS AND THE TEMPERANCE UNION - Spit Polish LP noise it’s phenomenal to see it2024 reissue. The album has a more country sound than his first solo album, with dirty electric guitars dominating the sound. The best songs are the first three (which include the excellent guitar riffage of Fiction) and the final three (which contains Tims Letter to Gene: a letter to Tims childhood idol Gene Simmons who he later met, discovering that Gene was only in music for the money and women). The album is not as great as some Rogers You Am I
